Healthy eating makes us a healthy person
The nutritious food has
main essential nutrients such as carbohydrate, protein, fats, vitamins and minerals.
If we want to be healthy and strong we should eat a balanced diet. The nutritional
food in a balanced diet supplies energy, build and repair body and maintain the
heartbeat.
Proteins help us to
build, repair and maintain body tissues. Our body use protein to absorb vitamins
in food. They are found in milk, cheese, meat, fish, eggs and pulses. Complex carbohydrates
are found in fruits, vegetables and grains. Fibre in plant materials helps in
digestion and helps to prevent bowel diseases. Green leafy vegetables, fruits
and sea foods supply minerals to the body. Strong bones, teeth and healthy hair
is the good result of minerals. Vitamin is our disease fighter. We need all
these nutrients to maintain our bodies healthy.
We should eat sensibly.
Avoid eating high calorie foods such as crisps, fizzy drinks and sweets. Too much
sugar and too much fat can also be harmful. It causes obesity and diabetes. If
you do not eat a healthy diet you may have lack of concentration, lethargy and behavioural
problems.
We
should eat foods cooked at home. Homemade food are simple and nourishing. Those
food are clean, nutritious and free from artificial flavours. To be a healthy
person eat the food made at home.
